Our client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our client's team on a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using TypeScript and Node.js.
- Build and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs to support modern web applications and services.
- Develop and optimize solutions leveraging serverless and edge-based architectures.
- Implement and maintain automated testing, including unit, integration, and contract testing.
- Support CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software development and deployment.
- Work within Server-Side Rendering (SSR) environments and integrate content management solutions such as Kontent.ai.
- Contribute to AI-driven development initiatives, including prompt engineering and schema design.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and deliver reliable solutions.

Required Skills & Experience





- Strong qualified experience developing applications with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Proven experience designing, building, and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Solid understanding of serverless computing and edge-based architectures.
- Hands‑on experience with testing frameworks and automated testing strategies.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
- Familiarity with SSR frameworks and environments.
- Experience working with Kontent.ai.
- Understanding of prompt engineering and schema design for AI-powered applications.
- Nice to Have Experience with Python, particularly in AI-related development.
- Exposure to AI integrations, LLM-powered applications, or generative AI technologies.
- Experience working in fast‑paced, short‑term delivery environments.
