Design secure AWS solutions remotely for BMO, using serverless, containers, and Infrastructure as Code to support scalable cloud delivery.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will design, build, and operate resilient AWS infrastructure for internal development teams. The work includes CloudFormation, CDK, Rego, IAM, and CloudWatch. You will help teams adopt cloud services consistently while meeting security, governance, regulatory, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and maintain AWS infrastructure across core cloud services
- Build reusable infrastructure patterns, modules, and reference architectures
- Maintain CloudFormation, CDK, and policy as code automation
- Optimize monitoring, logging, alerting, performance, and operational readiness




- Guide engineering teams through cloud onboarding and architecture decisions

Requirements:

- Five to seven-plus years of production cloud engineering experience
- Implementation experience with AWS serverless or container services
- Event-driven architecture experience using SNS, SQS, or EventBridge
- Scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, or Python
- Solid analytical, communication, and autonomous problem-solving abilities
