Own financial reporting and continuous close at AMZ Prep, improving reconciliations and visibility across its North American logistics business.
This experienced, hands-on Financial Controller reports to the Director of Finance & Strategy. You will oversee accounting operations, tax compliance, treasury, financial controls, and reporting. The purpose is to improve accuracy, reduce manual work, and support US expansion through scalable finance processes.
Key Responsibilities: Own month-end and year-end close processes
Lead automated reconciliations and weekly soft closes
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
Provide weekly updates and variance reporting
Reduce close timelines through process improvements
Requirements: Significant financial accounting or controllership experience
Professional accounting designation, preferably CPA
Knowledge of Canadian standards and internal controls
Experience managing month-end and year-end closes
Robust Excel or Google Sheets skills
Bring controllership expertise, automation experience, and reporting discipline to AMZ Prep’s evolving North American finance function.
