Loblaw is hiring a Senior Manager, Strategy & Customer Insights for its Hard Discount Division, which includes No Frills and Maxi. The role is based in Brampton, Ontario, and supports divisional strategy and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic initiatives supporting revenue, profitability, market share, and long-term competitiveness.

Structure ambiguous business questions, define analyses and workplans, and develop explicit recommendations.

Synthesize customer, financial, operational, market, and competitive information to identify insights and opportunities.

Develop strategic frameworks and recommendations across merchandising, promotions, customer, and operational priorities.

Create and present executive-ready materials for senior leadership, annual planning, and Board discussions.

Partner with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders,



and help translate recommendations into action.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in business, finance, economics, mathematics/statistics, analytics, or a related discipline, and at least five years of relevant experience.

Experience leading strategic projects from an ambiguous starting point through to recommendations.

Strong analytical, commercial, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.

Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills. SQL, GCP BigQuery, Python, SAS, R, VBA, or syndicated market/customer data experience is an asset.

Salary: $100,000–$132,000 per year. Compensation may vary based on experience, knowledge, and geographic region.
