This senior Principal Mining Engineer role oversees planning, design, and execution for mining projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, optimize production schedules, and support strategic decisions. The work covers mine operations, project management, safety, and sustainability across the Northern Cape region.
Key Responsibilities: Lead strategic planning and operational execution for mining projects
Develop mine plans, production schedules, and resource strategies
Oversee mine design, geotechnical assessments, and ventilation systems
Manage drilling programs, development, and extraction processes




Ensure health, safety, environmental, and company policy compliance
Requirements: BSc or BEng degree in Mining Engineering
At least 10 years of progressive mining engineering experience
Skilled Engineer registration with ECSA or equivalent desirable
Expertise in Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac, and simulation tools
Experience managing large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams
Apply principal-level mine planning, operational leadership, and engineering expertise across Kimberley and Northern Cape mining sites.
