Senior Accountant needed in Calgary for month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting within a adaptable hybrid arrangement. This six-month contract may extend.

This Senior Accountant will support a growing global SaaS company during strategic expansion. The work includes journal entries, financial statements, general ledger accounts, and internal controls. You will collaborate with international finance teams, investigate discrepancies, and improve accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support month-end close activities and prepare journal entries
- Complete account reconciliations and review general ledger accounts
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules




- Investigate reporting issues and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Collaborate with international finance teams on deadlines

Requirements:

- Three to five or more years of progressive accounting experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, or ASPE
- Experience with a major ERP system
- Month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting experience
- Current Calgary residence and authorization to work in Canada
