Our client, a growing global SaaS company, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a 6-month contract with potential for extension.

About the Opportunity

- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, supporting schedules and general ledger accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and reporting issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international finance teams to meet reporting deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiencies.
- Support ad hoc accounting projects and other finance initiatives as required.

About You

- 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a corporate accounting or public practice environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP, IFRS or ASPE.
- Hands-on experience with a major ERP system such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards.
- Proven experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently,



manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach.
- Experience in the SaaS, technology or professional services industries is an asset.
- Direct experience with NetSuite is an asset.
- Public accounting experience with exposure to technology or SaaS clients is an asset.
- Experience working within international or multi-entity organizations is an asset.
