Lead health and safety programs across Etobicoke distribution facilities, applying occupational safety expertise and managing WSIB Excellence accreditation requirements. This role requires multi-site oversight.

Reporting to the Director of Warehouse Operations, the Health and Safety Specialist supports operational teams with legal compliance and workplace safety. The position oversees inspections, incident investigations, training, records, and safety communications across facilities. Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or other industrial settings is relevant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and update the company Health and Safety Program
- Guide operational teams toward occupational health and safety compliance
- Maintain WSIB Health and Safety Excellence Program accreditation
- Inspect workplaces, investigate incidents,



and recommend corrective actions
- Facilitate orientations, training, meetings, records, and external audits

Requirements:

- Three to five years of occupational health and safety management experience
- Experience managing and representing the WSIB Excellence Program
- Knowledge of applicable occupational health and safety regulations
- Robust communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver's license
