Wiikwemkoong Child and Family Services seeks qualified Early Childhood Parent Support Workers for Early Childhood and Parent Support Services. You will assist families with children aged 0-5 years who face or experience child welfare involvement. The work aligns with Anishnaabe values, Gchi Naaknigewin, and Wiikwemkoong’s Children’s Bill of Rights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide advocacy, education, and support for infant and toddler care
- Explain developmental milestones, nutrition, and bonding to caregivers
- Develop individualized wellness plans with partner representatives




- Conduct weekly or bi-weekly home visits
- Maintain accurate records, case notes, and progress reports

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or related field
- Experience working with Indigenous families and communities
- Knowledge of child development and child welfare systems
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access
