Lead physical security design authority for EdgeConneX data centers, shaping access control and surveillance standards across a global portfolio.

As Principal, Security Design, you will own the Physical Security Baseline, design standards, templates, and exception process. You will guide current builds, expansions, and customer-specific projects for major cloud and enterprise customers. The work spans design approval, integrator submittals, compliance, and commissioning traceability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own physical security baselines, standards, specifications, and templates
- Approve project designs, layouts, and above-baseline requirements
- Lead complex customer-specific physical security designs
- Manage risk-based exceptions, deviations, and record-keeping




- Report compliance, conformance, and exception trends to leadership

Requirements:

- Minimum eight years in physical security design or engineering
- At least four years setting standards or leading designs
- Expertise in critical infrastructure physical security systems
- Enterprise access control and video management platform knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
