Miratech seeks an Information Scientist focused on information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, and search optimization. You will assess knowledge content, analyze search behavior, and establish structures supporting keyword, semantic, and AI-powered retrieval. The work includes recommendations for a client content team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze knowledge bases for structural gaps, duplication, and searchability
- Assess 100–200 pilot articles for quality and tagging
- Analyze search logs, behavior, and zero-result queries
- Design taxonomies, metadata models,



vocabularies, and tagging rules
- Define content quality, lifecycle, review, and ownership guidelines

Requirements:

- 5+ years in information science, taxonomy, metadata, or search
- Enterprise taxonomy and metadata model design experience
- Experience improving findability and search optimization
- Experience preparing content for AI-powered retrieval
- Eligibility for Government of Canada security clearance
