The Renfrew County and District Health Unit has an opening for one (1) temporary, Public Health Inspector.

Qualifications

- Certificate in Public Health Inspection - (Canada);
- B.Sc. (Workplace) or equivalent;
- Excellent knowledge of Health Protection and Promotion Act and relevant regulations;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language;
- Acceptable vulnerable sector check required;
- Proof that you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19; and
- Valid Ontario 'G' Driver's License and own vehicle required.

Location: Pembroke office

Term: From November 2, 2026 until April 30, 2027

Hourly Rate: $43.48 to $49.95 plus prorated vacation time and 14% in-Lieu of Benefits.
