Our client, a leading national law firm, is looking for a lawyer with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in transactional corporate law to join its Energy, Projects and Infrastructure team.

This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work on major transactions and projects, primarily in Quebec and across Canada, in growing sectors including renewable energy and infrastructure.

The Role

You will work closely with clients and team members on a variety of projects and transactions, including:

- Participating in the development and implementation of energy and infrastructure projects
- Advising on tender processes and transactional matters
- Participating in the formation of joint ventures and partnerships
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial agreements, including construction contracts and management agreements




- Participating in mergers and acquisitions in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors
- Advising clients on various legal and commercial matters related to their projects
- Collaborating with different practice groups on complex transactions

Profile

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in transactional corporate law, ideally acquired in private practice
- Member in positive standing of the Québec Bar
- Excellent legal and drafting skills
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Rigorous approach and strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken
