Operate bulldozers and track loaders at Volker Stevin, applying grading expertise, equipment care, and safety practices on civil construction sites.

Reporting to the Foreman, the Dozer Operator moves, levels, and grades earth, rock, and other materials. This hands-on position supports site preparation, equipment maintenance, hazard reporting, and collaboration with supervisors and crew members. Operators may also use excavators as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate dozers through successive passes to achieve specified grades
- Level soil and move rock or debris efficiently
- Operate rippers, blades, winches, and other attachments properly
- Complete maintenance, safety checks, cleaning, lubrication, and refueling
- Report mechanical issues and potential hazards to supervisors

Requirements:

- At least two years operating dozers in heavy civil construction
- Physical ability to access tracked equipment and remove debris
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Driver’s Abstract with no more than six demerits
- No major infractions and required pre-employment testing
