Assess pediatric speech and language needs on site with George Jeffrey Children’s Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Support communication development through individualized care.

The Speech Language Pathologist assesses, diagnoses, and treats communication disorders in children and youth. This position uses standardized assessments, direct therapy, individualized treatment planning, and progress monitoring. Collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams supports client-centered rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Conduct standardized assessments with children and youth
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy
- Monitor progress and update clinical documentation




- Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team members

Requirements:

- Speech therapy and pediatric assessment and intervention skills
- Communication disorders evaluation and treatment planning experience
- Knowledge of expressive and receptive language disorders
- Competence managing pediatric dysphagia and feeding concerns
- Master’s degree and eligible provincial registration or licensure
