What you will be doing:

- Help deploy, operate, and maintain backend and platform services onAWS.

- Support Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) clusters and containerizedworkloads.

- Build and maintain automation with Ansible, scripting, and Infrastructureas Code.

- Develop and maintain Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) services andinternal tooling.

- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.

- Manage MongoDB databases - backups, restores, and basic performance tuning.

- Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

- Use AI assistants and agents (e.g., for coding, scripting, log analysis,documentation, and routine ops) to increase your speed and quality -and help the team find valuable, safe ways to apply them.

- Write clear technical documentation and operational runbooks.

- Collaborate with developers to improve reliability and deploymentpractices.

- Participate in on-call rotations after training.

What you must have:





Education

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science,Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Experience

- 1-3 years of experience across backend development, systems/IT administration, or DevOps (co-op and internship experience counts).

- Solid programming/scripting ability, ideally Node.js(JavaScript/TypeScript); comfort in at least one language.

- Working knowledge of Linux administration.

- Experience with Git and version control.

- Familiarity with REST APIs and general web/network fundamentals.

- Comfort using AI tools (coding assistants, chat-based agents) in dailywork -or clear enthusiasm to adopt them - along with the judgment to use them responsibly and verify their output.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and agenuine drive to learn.

Salary/Rate Range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
