This independent contractor provides short term counselling within TELUS Health EAP coverage parameters. You will assess client needs, establish goals, manage high risk cases, and connect clients with community resources. The work supports mental health access in remote and rural communities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver short term in person counselling to employees and families
- Assess needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Engage employers and Indigenous health organizations in local partnerships




- Maintain clinical records under applicable standards and regulations
- Connect clients with community resources and support services

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
- Minimum five years of post credential counselling experience
- Expertise in solution focused counselling and goal oriented planning
- Ability to manage high risk cases involving potential harm
- Private office or clinic suitable for in person sessions
