Maintain critical airport systems as a permanent full time Electrician at YVR, applying electrical expertise and troubleshooting skills. Shift work supports 24-hour Facilities Maintenance operations.

Working within a cross-functional team, you will perform preventative and corrective maintenance across Vancouver Airport Authority buildings and assets. The work includes electrical and mechanical equipment, controls, infrastructure, and airfield lighting. Success requires safety focus, analytical ability, and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance on airport building systems
- Complete corrective maintenance across Authority assets
- Repair generators, lighting, bridges, switchgear, and transformers
- Maintain UPSs, PLC controls, HMIs, and HVAC controls
- Service airfield lighting and electrical infrastructure

Requirements:

- Three years of recent related experience
- BC Trade Qualification as an Electrician
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Valid BC Class 5 or better driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
