Lead strategic research partnerships at Toronto Metropolitan University through business development, grant strategy, and hybrid leadership with three office days.

As Director of Strategic Research, you will work with the Associate Dean of Research at the Ted Rogers School of Management. You will advance TRSM’s research agenda through partnership development, sponsored research, grant development, and complex research initiatives. The work connects academic, industry, government, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic and operational leadership for TRSM’s research agenda
- Cultivate academic, industry, government, and community partnerships
- Drive sponsored research and grant development opportunities
- Manage complex research projects, governance,



and resources
- Build research centre, institute, lab, and organizational capacity

Requirements:

- Completion of a Master’s degree
- At least seven years’ progressively increasing university research experience
- Experience managing research projects and resources
- Understanding of university structures and granting processes
- Experience managing in a unionized research workplace
