Run screw machines at Quanex in Brampton, reading blueprints and inspecting parts accurately on an on-site afternoon shift. This is a full time manufacturing position.

As a Machine Operator, you will set up and operate multi-spindle or single-spindle screw machines. The work includes monitoring settings and outputs, installing tools, and maintaining lubrication. You will record production data, notify the production supervisor about major problems, and follow safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate screw machines
- Monitor settings, outputs, and machine tooling
- Inspect parts against blueprint specifications
- Maintain lubrication and clean equipment
- Record production data and report operating problems

Requirements:

- High School education or equivalent required
- Ability to read prints and measuring instruments
- Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Preferred experience with screw machines and surface grinders
- Positive, team-oriented mentality
