Install roofing systems across various locations using asphalt, shingles, tiles, waterproof materials, and metal roofing tools. This work requires physical capability and coordination.

This Roofer position requires secondary school graduation and one to less than two years of experience. You will install, repair, and replace built-up, single-ply, asphalt, wood, masonry, baked clay, and metal roofing systems. The work includes waterproofing masonry surfaces and building safe working platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install built-up roofing with asphalt felts, hot asphalt, and gravel
- Install or replace shingles, shakes, and roofing tiles
- Repair single-ply roofing systems and sloped-roof coverings




- Apply waterproof coatings to masonry surfaces above or below ground
- Erect scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms

Requirements:

- Secondary school graduation certificate
- One year to less than two years of experience
- First Aid, WHMIS, and Fall Arrest Protection certificates
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work under pressure
- Steel-toed safety boots and reliability
