Analyze inpatient coding data as a part time Data Analyst chart reviewer at Scarborough Health Network’s General Site. CHIM certification and acute-care expertise are essential.

This temporary, nine-month position connects clinicians with Health Information Management professionals across SHN. You will review ICD-10-CA and CCI coding, support clinical documentation quality, and work with health information databases. Scheduling may occur at General or Birchmount campus, according to departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze inpatient medical coding in acute hospitals
- Perform proactive and retrospective coded-data audits
- Initiate clinical documentation quality analyses
- Develop and distribute clinical documentation materials




- Provide CIHI, CCO, and CCN correction files

Requirements:

- CHIM certification and current CHIMA registration
- Health Information Management degree or diploma
- At least five years of acute inpatient coding experience
- Knowledge of CMG+, RIW, HIG, HBAM, and MIS guidelines
- Experience with WinRecs, Meditech, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Office
