This Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic reports to the Manager, Maintenance. You will address mechanical issues, complete preventative maintenance, and support Sanjel equipment operations. The position requires Red Seal certification, a current CVIP license, and your own tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform scheduled CVIP inspections and fleet maintenance tasks
- Diagnose equipment faults and determine required repairs
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
- Test repaired equipment against manufacturers’ specifications
- Complete equipment refurbishments, updates, and routine maintenance

Requirements:

- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate with Inter-provincial Red Seal
- Current CVIP license and full tool kit preferred
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, and electrical skills
- Unrestricted Class 5 license with clean driver’s abstract
- Thorough safety knowledge and practice
