Reporting to the Manager, Interprofessional Practice and Learning, the Clinical Nurse Educator supports knowledge translation, education, and qualified practice. The permanent full-time position develops orientation and ongoing education programs using learner-centred approaches. It also advances evidence-based standards and collaborative person-centred care within Nova Scotia Health.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate clinical knowledge translation
- Design and implement orientation and ongoing education programs
- Monitor and evaluate education using learner-centred approaches
- Provide advice, consultation,



and support to advance practice
- Support evidence-based standards within interprofessional care teams

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Active Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator license
- Three years’ recent Early Years Public Health nursing experience
- CNA or specialty certification and BLS-C or RQI BLS
- Teaching, adult education, and concept-based learning experience preferred
