About the Role

Our client, a leading international logistics and supply chain provider, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Analyst to join their team. This role is instrumental in optimizing various aspects of our client's logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills, a thorough understanding of logistics principles, and proficiency in data analysis tools. This hybrid position allows for a blend of work from home and on-site collaboration, providing flexibility while ensuring close integration with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, cost drivers, and opportunities for process improvement within the logistics network.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards to monitor operational effectiveness.
- Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.
- Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and IT departments to ensure data integrity and system effectiveness.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed operational changes and investments.




- Support the selection and implementation of new logistics technologies and software solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies in all analytical work.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics analysis, operations research, or a similar analytical role within the supply chain.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables), SQL, and ideally data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent understanding of logistics operations, including transportation modes, warehousing, and inventory control.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
