Newly Graduate Welcome- We are hiring Quality Control (QC) Technicians for North York, Ontario.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for monitoring food safety standards, inspecting production lines, and ensuring baked goods adhere to company and regulatory guidelines.

- Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts available
- Location: North York
- Hourly Rate: $20.00
- CSA Approved Safety shoes required
- Must be able to work 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

- Line Inspections: Monitor raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products across bakery and packaging lines.
- Food Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation protocols, and hazard analysis standards.
- Testing & Sampling: Collect and analyze product and environmental samples, check weights, temperatures, and metal detection logs.
- Documentation: Record quality metrics, non-conformance reports, and verification data into tracking systems.




- Continuous Improvement: Work with production supervisors and the quality team to resolve process deviations or equipment issues.

General Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: College diploma or certification in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field (or equivalent bakery/food manufacturing experience).
- Experience: Previous QA/QC experience in a high-volume food processing or commercial bakery environment is preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), GMP, and food safety regulations.
- Skills: Attention to detail, basic computer literacy (MS Office), and strong communication skills.
