Network Infrastructure Consultant (6-Month Contract) Location: Montreal, QC (onsite preferred) Contract: 6 months, with possible extension Job Description We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Consultant to support our network infrastructure team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

The consultant will help run, stabilize, and improve systems and network workplace, while contributing to roadmap and strategy discussions.

Key responsibilities: Support day-to-day system and network operations, including maintenance and monitoring.

Administer and optimize Windows Server environments and core services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, Entra ID).

Manage and support Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.

Maintain and improve firewalls, switching, routing, VPNs, and printer infrastructure.

Support virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox) and cloud workloads across Azure, AWS, OCI, and GCP.

Contribute to the infrastructure roadmap and strategic planning, and recommend improvements.

Manage vendor relationships and contribute to budget planning and tracking.

Lead or support infrastructure projects, solve complex technical issues, and mentor team members where needed.

Essential Requirements 7+ years of experience in IT operations.





Strong experience in system and network operations, maintenance, and monitoring.

Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and Entra ID.

Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation and support.

Solid understanding of Linux and Windows Server operating systems and virtualization.

Experience with VMware and/or Proxmox.

Experience with cloud instances on Azure, AWS, OCI, or GCP.

Working knowledge of firewalls, switching, routing, VPNs, and printer infrastructure.

Demonstrated experience in roadmap development, strategic planning, vendor management, and budget management.

Leadership and people management experience.

Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

Ability to work onsite in Montreal.

Preferred Requirements Experience with Yoobic.

Experience with Veeam and cloud backup solutions.

Experience with Manage

Engine, specifically for patching.

Experience with security and monitoring tools such as Darktrace, Crowd

Strike, or Elastic.

Experience with Zebra devices and related solutions.

Industry certifications in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and networking (Fortinet, Extreme Networks).
