Develop Power BI analytics solutions in Halifax as an entry-level Business Analytics Developer supporting reporting and dashboard needs. Work at NSCC’s Central Office and IT Campus.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Institutional Research and Effectiveness, you will support NSCC’s Business Analytics Team. The continuing full-time position serves Academic Operations and Planning, Institutional Research, Finance, and HR. You will gather requirements, create prototypes, and help deliver reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and prototypes
- Analyze business requirements and evaluate reporting options
- Assist with data warehouse model and technical specifications
- Support testing, user training,



and report security
- Provide production support for reports and dashboards

Requirements:

- Relevant university degree or college diploma
- Experience developing analytics solutions with Microsoft Power BI
- Understanding of IT system development methodologies
- Business analysis experience gathering reporting requirements
- Solid analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
