Support secure plant operations as a Relief Operator at AltaGas’s Pipestone Facility near Grande Prairie, Alberta, performing readings and equipment checks. Work rotating day and night shifts on a 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule.

This Relief Operator position supports full-time operations staff at AltaGas’s Pipestone Facility. You will help conduct operational activities safely and effectively through plant monitoring, equipment preparation, and maintenance support. The schedule requires 12-hour shifts, rotating between nights and days.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take plant readings and perform equipment checks
- Complete safety equipment checks
- Assist operators with equipment lockout and purging
- Change filters and assist with pipeline pigging
- Support safe work permitting and maintenance preparation

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering certificate
- Or actively work toward the required certificate
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Positive attitude and desire to learn
