Lead quality assurance and food safety at Richardson International’s Barrhead, Alberta facility. Supervise unionized employees and strengthen Products Quality Control programs.

As Quality Assurance Manager, you will report to the Director of Operations, Richardson Oilseed Products. You will lead the QA technical team, oversee procedures, investigate non-conformances, and support plant operations. The position also involves stakeholder liaison, data analysis, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in the Products plant leadership team
- Implement food safety and quality procedures effectively
- Investigate non-conformances and respond to customer complaints
- Develop, train, monitor, and coach QA technical employees
- Advance QA goals and continuous plant improvement

Requirements:

- Degree in core science or food science
- Minimum two years laboratory experience
- Level 1 HACCP required; Level 2 preferred
- Minimum two years supervisory experience
- Experience with ISO systems, Health and Safety, and budgets
