Lead IMIT and low-voltage design across Western Canada with AES, coordinating network infrastructure and intelligent building systems for complex projects.

AES seeks an experienced Intermediate IMIT Subject Matter Expert to provide technical leadership across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. The role supports healthcare, commercial, institutional, correctional, and other complex building projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, clients, architects, contractors, vendors, and technology partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead IMIT, telecommunications, and low-voltage system design
- Develop strategies, specifications, drawings, and tender documentation
- Coordinate cabling, fibre infrastructure, pathways, and network rooms
- Integrate BAS, access control,



CCTV, and connected technologies
- Review submittals, testing, commissioning, and close-out documentation

Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in a related technical discipline
- Minimum eight years’ IMIT or integrated systems experience
- Consulting engineering setting experience
- Knowledge of structured cabling and systems integration
- Ability to travel throughout Western Canada
