We are working with a growing technology organisation seeking a Principal Solutions Consultant with a strong understanding of municipal operations, business processes and enterprise applications.

The Opportunity

As a Principal Solutions Consultant, you will work closely with municipal and public sector stakeholders to understand their operational challenges and deliver practical, technology-led improvements.

You will play an significant role across the full project lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirements gathering through solution design, configuration, implementation and ongoing optimisation.

The role combines functional consulting, business process improvement and customer engagement, making it particularly suited to someone who understands how municipal organisations operate and enjoys translating complex requirements into effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:





- Lead discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with municipal stakeholders.
- Analyse local government processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation and modernisation.
- Translate operational and financial requirements into functional solution designs.
- Configure and support cloud-based business applications to meet customer needs.
- Support implementation activities, including data migration, testing, training and go-live.
- Provide functional expertise across municipal business processes and associated systems.
- Collaborate with technical specialists, implementation teams and customer-facing colleagues.
- Investigate complex functional challenges and recommend practical solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, providing guidance throughout their technology transformation journey.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in consulting methodologies and solution delivery.

What We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in professionals who understand the operational complexities of municipal government and have experience working with business-critical systems.

Relevant experience may include:

- Municipal finance, accounting, budgeting or financial management.
- Property taxation, assessment,



revenue collection or billing operations.
- Utility services, customer accounts or receivables management.
- Municipal administration, citizen services or other local government functions.
- ERP, financial management, CRM or municipal business applications.
- Business analysis, systems implementation, functional consulting or process improvement.
- Cloud technology platforms, including Salesforce or similar enterprise applications.

Salesforce experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

We are equally interested in individuals who bring strong municipal operational knowledge and experience working with business systems, even if they have not previously worked in a dedicated consulting role.
