Lead multi-site childcare operations as a Registered Early Childhood Educator with Umbrella Family in the Greater Hamilton Area. Guide teams, programs, and quality.

Umbrella Family seeks a Program Manager (RECE) for its Leadership Team. Reporting to the Director of Childcare Programs, you will provide operational, pedagogical, and people leadership across multiple licensed child care locations. The work centers on staffing, enrollment, compliance, program quality, and organizational priorities. Strong knowledge of How Does Learning Happen?, relationship-based practice, and Reggio Emilia-inspired pedagogy is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, coach, and manage performance across multiple program teams
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, enrollment, occupancy, compliance, and support
- Monitor alignment with responsive and Reggio-inspired pedagogy




- Support budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning
- Build relationships with families, schools, and community stakeholders

Requirements:

- RECE registration in positive standing with the College
- Ten years’ childcare centre experience and five years’ people management
- Experience overseeing operations, staffing, enrollment, and administration
- Knowledge of CCEYA and How Does Learning Happen?
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, checks, and certification required
