Interim CFO / Director of Finance Role: Interim CFO / Director of Finance Work Model: Primarily Remote Location: GTHA (must be able to travel onsite in the GTHA approximately once a month) Overview Our client is seeking a hands-on Interim CFO / Director of Finance to lead the finance function during a period of operational and organizational change.

The successful candidate will evaluate the current finance environment, strengthen reporting and controls, support the stabilization of an ERP implementation, and provide leadership to the finance team while helping build a scalable foundation for future growth Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the finance and accounting function across multiple North American entities.

Operate effectively in an setting where priorities evolve and not all issues are fully defined at the outset.

Evaluate existing accounting processes, identify gaps, and implement sustainable improvements.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for executive leadership, the Board, ownership stakeholders,



and other key business partners.

Lead the stabilization and optimization of an ERP implementation, ensuring accurate data migration, process alignment, system adoption, and reporting integrity.

Strengthen controls, reconciliations, cash management, payroll, and commission-related processes.

Improve month-end and year-end close procedures and establish greater accountability within the finance team.

Partner closely with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Provide hands-on support with complex accounting, operational, and reporting matters.

Support a highly regulated business operating across multiple jurisdictions, currencies, and legal entities.

Manage reporting requirements and communications with senior stakeholders, including Board-level audiences.

Navigate and support high-volume commission and compensation environments.
