Inspecting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Completing work orders and documenting all repairs and maintenance performed.

Following established work procedures and occupational health and safety regulations.

Assisting with other shop duties as needed.

Job requirements Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

At least three years of experience as a heavy-duty vehicle mechanic is considered an asset.

Valid PEP certification, or eligibility to complete the required CFTR training to obtain it.

Ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems.

Valid driver’s licence to move vehicles.

Solid analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize repairs.
