Support debtors and creditors as an Insolvency Advisor with BDO’s Personal Debt Solutions team in Mississauga, with regular office presence.

This Insolvency Advisor position provides initial consultations, assesses debtor situations, and recommends appropriate options, with training provided. You will assist clients with bankruptcies and proposals while preparing documents and supporting service delivery. The role also includes community outreach and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform initial consultations assessing debtor situations and recommending options
- Assist debtors and creditors by telephone and in person
- Support bankruptcies and proposals throughout client interactions
- Review interview forms and prepare signing documents




- Promote personal debt solutions through outreach and presentations

Requirements:

- Two or more years in customer service or relevant financial areas
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills with varied stakeholders
- Previous insolvency experience is an asset, not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Availability for one evening shift weekly until 7:30pm
