THE ROLE: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented AML Transaction Monitoring Analyst to support the ongoing detection and escalation of potentially suspicious financial activity.

This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance standards, monitoring transaction activity, and helping strengthen the organization's anti-money laundering framework.

Responsibilities: Review and assess Level 1 transaction monitoring alerts, investigating and clearing non-suspicious activity while documenting decisions thoroughly Escalate unusual or potentially suspicious transactions to the appropriate compliance stakeholders in a timely manner Maintain complete and audit-ready case files that align with internal recordkeeping and regulatory requirements Identify recurring false-positive trends and provide feedback to support monitoring rule enhancements Monitor for transaction patterns that exceed established risk thresholds and escalate concerns as required Collaborate on transaction monitoring improvements,



including rule optimization and threshold adjustments Contribute to AML awareness initiatives by supporting training and knowledge sharing across business teams Assist in strengthening the overall effectiveness of the organization's financial crime prevention program WHY THIS ROLE?
