Our Richmond client is seeking a permanent full time Junior Accountant to join the team. **Competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $55,000 + Bonus & Perks** Benefits: *Opportunity for career progression * Work as part of an established team * RRSP Matching, Annual Bonus, 3 weeks vacation * Onsite parking Responsibilities: * Assist with daily accounting tasks such as data entry, journal entries, and maintaining organized financial records * Support month-end and year-end closing processes * Help manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and resolving discrepancies * Assist with accounts payable, expense processing, and reconciling bank/credit card transactions (including multi-currency) * Contribute to financial reporting, including monthly reports and basic variance analysis * Provide operational and administrative support, including tracking expenses, preparing cost summaries, and handling ad-hoc tasks Successful Candidate: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (BBA or BCOM) * Strong academic background in accounting principles * Excellent oral and written communication skills* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
