Job Description
Insight Global looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to support a Canadian Online Real-Time Payments initiative.

This role will focus on real-time payment rails, e-Transfer/RTP, direct payment capabilities, and payment API integrations.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, can work comfortably with APIs and technical specifications, and is able to bridge conversations between business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the delivery of real-time payment capabilities in Canada
• Partner with business, architecture, engineering, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Analyze and document payment APIs, JSON payloads, Swagger/OpenAPI specifications, schemas, and data mappings.
• Support integration requirements across real-time and direct payment capabilities.
• Work with technical teams to troubleshoot requirements, integration gaps, and data-flow issues.
• Provide portfolio-level support and help coordinate priorities across multiple stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members
We may use AI to source resumes, conduct interviews with recruiter oversight.

Skills and Requirements
• 7+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Strong understanding of:
○ APIs / REST APIs
○ JSON
○ Swagger / OpenAPI
○ Schemas
○ Data mapping and integration requirements
•ISO 20022 experience,



including mapping, and payment rail modernization.
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Ability to understand and communicate the intersection between business requirements and technical architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with low-value payments.
• Knowledge of Interac e-Transfer / Canadian RTP capabilities.
• Experience with Mastercard Send.
• Cloud engineering or solution architecture exposure.
• Experience supporting broader payment portfolios or transformation programs.
