Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Lead Full Stack Developer to support a major KYC transformation initiative within a large banking environment.

This role will focus on both modernizing existing applications and developing new applications and functionality from the ground up.

The ideal candidate has strong experience across Java/Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS, with the ability to provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in coding and delivery.

Responsibilities
• Lead development across both application modernization and new-build initiatives.
• Design and build new applications, services, and functionality from the ground up.
• Modernize and enhance existing KYC applications.
• Develop solutions using Java/Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS.
• Guide developers on coding standards, design patterns, testing, and deployment.
• Partner with Solution Architects to translate architecture into technical implementation.
• Build and support APIs and integrations between legacy, modernized, and newly developed components.
• Participate throughout solution design, development, testing, and production deployment.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop scalable solutions.

Skills and Requirements
• 6+ years of Java/Spring Boot development.
• Strong AWS development and Angular experience.
• Experience with both enterprise application modernization and new application development/recent builds.




• Previous Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or senior hands-on development experience.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, application architecture, and SDLC.
• Experience with Agile delivery and Jira.
•
Ability to lead technically while remaining hands-on with code.
• Experience within a large enterprise banking environment.
• KYC, AML, or commercial banking experience.
• PostgreSQL.
• AI development or AI integration experience.
• Cloud migration, rehosting, or redeployment experience.
