About the role

Alberta Insurance Pro is a local, growing insurance brokerage in Airdrie, part of the Navacord network. We're hiring Insurance Sales Brokers to grow with us. About 70% of our team started with no insurance experience, and today they have thriving careers here. We provide the leads, the training and a proven sales process that has produced the top 1% of all insurance sales in Alberta year over year. You bring the drive, and we'll show you how to build a book of business that's yours.

Location: In office – 502-2903 Kingsview Blvd, Airdrie, AB

Pay: $50,000 – $80,000 per year starting salary, depending on experience

Our story

We started as a family office of 6 people, and today we're a team of just over 35. We've grown into a larger brokerage because we have access to the same companies and products as the biggest insurance brokerages, while still keeping a close, family-style feel. We treat our staff the best in the industry, because clients and staff are the most important things to our success, and we never take that for granted.

How the pay works

You're paid a salary while you build. Once the commissions on your book of business (new business and renewals) exceed your salary, you can choose to switch to commission. Brokers who follow our process and meet reasonable targets have a clear 3-year path to earning well above six figures.

What you'll do

Follow up on the leads we provide, quickly and professionally

Quote and sell home, auto, commercial and life insurance

Build and grow your own book of business

Run client reviews to make sure coverage fits and to find new opportunities

Follow our proven sales process with coaching from a supportive team

What we're looking for A positive, competitive attitude and the drive to succeed

Clear, confident communication on the phone and in person

Coachable and eager to learn

Willingness to get your Alberta Level 1 general insurance licence (we'll support you)

Bonus, not required: sales experience with targets or commission (e.g. auto, RV or powersports sales), or insurance or customer-facing experience
