At Starling Community Services, this Benjamin Road position supports children and youth through structured, therapeutic service programming. The work includes individual and group activities, skills development, social emotional learning, counselling, and behaviour documentation.

The schedule is onsite, every other weekend from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with individual and group recreational programming
- Support skills development and social emotional learning
- Counsel clients and monitor documented behaviour
- Maintain service goals, objectives, routines, and norms
- Ensure Ministry standards and program safety requirements

Requirements:

- Child and youth work diploma or related degree
- One year’s successful Child and Youth Worker experience
- Understanding of social and emotional learning models
- Ability to communicate, coach youth, and follow directions
- Resilience under physical and emotional stress
