Provide resident care as a Health Care Aide with Age Care, applying safe basic-care skills under Staff Nurse supervision. English fluency is required.

This Health Care Aide works within a care team to meet individual resident needs. The position uses care plans, transfer equipment, personal protective equipment, and routine treatment procedures. One year of continuing-care experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bathed, showered, and washed residents following care procedures
- Assisted transfers using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and transfer belts
- Fed residents and followed appropriate diets from care plans
- Provided routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
- Escorted residents to meals, therapies, recreation, and social functions

Requirements:

- Recognized Personal Care Aide or Health Care Aide certificate
- Active registration with the CLHA
- Fluent English communication orally and in writing
- One year of continuing-care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education considered an asset

Support Age Care residents through compassionate daily care, protected transfers, meal assistance, and meaningful facility activities.
