Good Nine Korean BBQ — Richmond, BC

Good Nine Korean BBQ is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Server to join our team. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, works well under pressure, and enjoys providing attentive, hands-on service.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.

- Explain menu items and take food and beverage orders accurately.

- Assist guests with grilling meat at their tables, following our cooking and food safety procedures.

- Learn our menu, grilling techniques, and service standards.

- Manage multiple tables while keeping up with orders, grilling assistance, and guest requests.

- Communicate guest requests and dietary concerns clearly to the kitchen.

- Process payments accurately using the POS system.

- Keep tables, service stations, and dining areas clean and organized.

- Work closely with the team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods.

Requirements

- Fluent spoken English, with the ability to explain menu items, take orders accurately, and communicate clearly with guests and team members.

- Conversational ability in Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred to assist guests who use these languages.

- A quick learner who can follow instructions,



apply feedback, and learn table-side grilling techniques.

- Ability to work well under pressure, stay calm, and maintain service quality during busy shifts.

- Strong multitasking, teamwork, and time management skills.

- A friendly attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.

- Willingness to actively assist guests with grilling throughout each shift.

- Valid Serving It Right certificate.

- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

- Availability for evening and weekend shifts is preferred.

- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is an asset. Training is provided.
