Job Summary

Masonry Labourer - Working directly under masons to maintaining site preparation and continuous flow of masonry materials.

Duties and Responsibility

- Scaffolding Setup - Erect, move and dismantle scaffolding
- Material Handling - Load, unload and move bricks, blocks & natural stone
- Mixing Mortar - Mix mortar, grout to the required consistency using mixers, moving with wheelbarrow & pails
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, brick cutters & quick cut saws safely
- Cutting - Bricks, Blocks and Stone using brick cutters & power saws
- Site Cleanup - Remove rubble, scrap mortar and keep the work site secure and organized
- Safety & Compliance - Wear required personal protective equipment - Hard Hats, Safety Glasses, Ear Protection, Respirator Mask, High Visibility Clothing & Safety Boots
- Follow site safety protocols
- Experience




- Previous construction experience or familiarity with masonry work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, brick cutters & quick cut saws
- Working at Heights
- Strong physical stamina, ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are essential
- Construction Location - London and Surrounding Areas

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44.0 per week
