Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Smith Falls Canada.

Position Title: Security Professional

Location: Smith Falls

Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time

Hourly Rate:$19:51

Vacancies: 3

Shift Schedule: 07:00-19:00 , 19:00-05:00,08:00-20:00

Position Summary The Security Professional is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients , staff, and visitors within a facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide continuous observation of assigned patient(s) as directed by hospital staff
- Ensure patient safety by preventing self-harm, elopement, or disruptive behavior
- Maintain a calm, qualified, and attentive presence at all times
- Accurately document observations and incidents in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and supervisors regarding any changes in patient condition or behavior




- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, confidentiality standards, and security procedures
- Support de-escalation efforts using approved techniques

Qualifications And Requirements

- Valid Security Guard License (Ontario)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Access to a personal vehicle
- Previous healthcare or patient watch experience is considered an asset
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
- Professional demeanor with strong conflict-resolution abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
