About the Role

MSZ Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives within the Government of Ontario's Labour and Transportation Cluster.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise QA, test planning, test automation, Microsoft Azure, accessibility compliance, and Ontario Government applications.

Hands-on experience with Siebel RLSO, ESDI and other Ontario Ministry applications is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scripts, test cases and test data.
- Plan, coordinate and execute functional, integration, regression, system, performance and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Perform end-to-end testing of complex enterprise applications, including GUI and non-GUI systems.
- Conduct AODA accessibility compliance audits, identify accessibility issues and support remediation.
- Manage testing activities, requirements traceability and defect lifecycles using Azure DevOps and Micro Focus ALM.
- Perform API, database, web services and legacy system integration testing.
- Support application testing in Microsoft Azure environments.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, project managers and technical leads to ensure application quality.
- Identify, document, track and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support Agile, Waterfall and DevOps delivery methodologies.

Mandatory Requirements
- 10+ years of experience planning,



organizing and implementing software testing and QA activities.
- Strong hands-on experience with Waterfall, Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud technology.
- Experience with Siebel RLSO (Registration Licensing System of Ontario), ESDI and other Ontario Ministry applications.
- Strong experience in test strategy, test planning, test execution and defect management.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Micro Focus ALM or similar test management tools.
- Experience testing large-scale enterprise applications and integrated systems.

Technical Skills

Accessibility Testing

- AODA compliance audits and remediation.
- Accessibility testing tools: AXE and WAVE.
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.

Ontario Ministry Applications

- Siebel RLSO and ESDI.
- Licensing and Control System (LCS).
- Legacy mainframe applications.
- Payment Gateway MPG/EPS services.

Testing Tools and Technologies

- Azure DevOps and Micro Focus ALM 12.5.
- ReadyAPI, REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Java and .NET technologies.
- SQL, Oracle, DB2 and IMS databases.
- UNIX and mainframe tools such as TSO/SPF.
- Test automation, performance testing, integration testing and UAT.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with the Ontario Public Service (OPS), particularly the Ministry of Transportation.
- Experience testing Siebel-based licensing and registration platforms.
- Experience testing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and scripting.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
