We have part-time positions available for energetic, responsible team players in our Extracurricular Childcare Program - both Lunch Monitor and Afterschool Monitor shifts are available.
This is a part-time position (10–15 hours per week).
Salary: $17.25 per hour
Lunch monitor shifts are typically 1.5 hours (approx. 11:30AM–1:30PM).
Afterschool shifts are typically 2 hours (approx. 3:30PM–5:30PM).

Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a punctual and dependable
- Must have experience working with children/youth
- Must be available to work during the school calendar year (ending mid-June 2027)
- Must be comfortable working outside in all weather
Conditions of Employment include:
- Confirmation of legal entitlement to work in Canada
- Nova Scotia Child Abuse Registry (CAR) check: new, or issued within the past 90 days
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check: recent, or issued within the past 90 days
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week (Must have availability on Tuesdays, Thursdays. Additional days considered an asset to pick up shifts.)
