Overview

As a Bookseller, you’ll help customers discover books and related products, provide attentive service, and support an inviting, well-organized retail setting. You’ll use clear communication and practical sales skills to make shopping straightforward and enjoyable.

Duties

- Welcome customers, answer questions, recommend products, and use active listening, phone etiquette, and upselling to support their needs.
- Demonstrate products and explain relevant technology features; complete sales and cashiering accurately using POS systems, cash handling, and basic math.
- Maintain merchandising and organized displays, manage time effectively, and coordinate with colleagues to keep the store welcoming.
- Your impact: Helpful recommendations and accurate transactions make it easier for customers to find what they need.

Requirements

Required: Must be an avid reader. Clear communication,



customer service, retail sales, basic math, cashiering, POS use, cash handling, time management, and organizational skills support daily duties. English proficiency is needed to assist customers and coordinate with colleagues.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12.0 per week
