Job Description:

This position will represent Japan Airlines (JAL) as Cargo Service at Vancouver International Airport by providing superb quality services to our customers. We are seeking highly motivated and professional individuals. This role focuses on daily operational needs of the cargo & mail business as well as the supervision of entrusted companies

Cargo Operations

● Prior Customer Support experience

● Business-level proficiency in English

● Ability to organize, break down, and clearly articulate complex thoughts, and ideas, in written form

● Strong ability to take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions

● Strong organizational and time management skills

● Supervision and direction of entrusted companies as they accept, and prepare import and export cargo and mail

● Strong safety mindset and focus

● Ability to thrive in a team environment

● Respond to operational disruptions and assist in implementing contingency plans

● Arrange Cargo Bookings and rates based on customer needs

● Data entry of customer rates and accounting of airwaybills

* Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

● Must be eligible to work in Canada and preferably reside in the Greater Vancouver Regional area, position will offer potential of permanent full time status,



so no short term working visas will be considered. (No visa support available)

● Prior experience in Airline or Airline operations is preferred

● Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

● Must be able to obtain Airport Security clearance from Transport Canada

● Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks while paying attention safety and

customer service
